Model: This model of the type DH 500 Ca loco has completely new tooling. The locomotive body, the chassis with its main frame, the wheels, and the coupling rods are made of die-cast zinc, the separately applied parts are mostly made of metal. The loco has an mfx decoder and a built-in, programmable buffer capacitor. All axles are powered. The loco has extensive sound and light functions. It can be operated with AC, DC, Märklin Digital, and DCC. The model has a built-in high-performance motor. All axles are powered. The white triple headlights with LEDs change over to red marker lights and are digitally controllable. The cab has warm-white, controllable, LED lighting. The cab doors can be opened, the cab interior details are prototypically reproduced, and the cab has a figure of an engineer. The locomotive has metal grab irons and many other separately applied details, such as windshield wipers, a bell, etc. The buffer beams have sprung buffers and separately applied brake lines. The loco has factory-installed, remote-control Telex couplers at the front and rear. The Telex couplers can be replaced with screw couplers (not included).
